That is what kids have been saying for
the past 6 years up and down the East Coast in small and big towns alike.
From Montreal to Satellite Beach CROP CIRCLE has been bringing the
Cow-Surf sound to the unexpecting
ears of flipsters and hipsters of all ages
and economic backgrounds. They have delighted and titillated listeners
with their swinging gyrations, twanging guitars and home-spun tunes that
bespeak of towns gone bad, ghostly apparitions, beings from beyond and
the pleasures of dating miniature women. Some folks have claimed the live
performances struck them as both a celebration and an exorcism of sweat
and sound.
CROP CIRCLE was born out of the backwoods
towns of Pennsylvania, (the same region that brought you Poison and Live)
and then launched an assault upon the major metropolitan areas of the
east coast where the band cut their teeth in the various clubs, roadhouses
and speakeasies. They have been serving up a blend of surf, psychedelic,
rockabilly and swing (with some secret ingredients of course) for quite
some time now. The band is now based in Boston where it is already winning
over the unsuspecting populace and causing a stir. Having known the band
since its' inception, I know that they are very pleased to present their
latest offering "A Piece of Strange"
(full length CD) to listeners old and new. Here they come again with more
way out hits that are sure to make you and yours shake and shiver. So
mix up a cocktail, give that certain someone
a call, turn up the volume and enjoy the now-gasmic sounds of CROP
CIRCLE.
Respectively yours,
MELVIS PUSHROD
